How it began :
After obtaining a master's degree in English literature at the University of Antananarivo in 1993, the founder, Mrs Hely RAKOTOMANANTSOA, began her career in tourism as a Tour guide for a Malagasy Tour Operator. In 1995, she had the opportunity to continue studying Tourism Management in Belgium. This has enabled her to acquire more theoretical and in- depth knowledge about the  Tourism business. In December 1998, after graduating from the Tourism Management School in Brussels, she went back to Madagascar and founded IslandContinentTours: a Tour Operator based in Antananarivo. From small beginnings the company grew, acquiring cars, 4wd and busses in order to insure a seamless service. To further insure the comfort of customers, an office and the Island Continent Hotel were built close to Ivato airport in Antananarivo, the gateway to Madagascar.
